(Reading, PA) -- A person who was shot by Reading police while pointing a gun at officers has been sentenced to up to three years in prison. Lakim Miller-Nock entered into a plea deal to get the reduced charges. Miller-Nock, a transgender woman who prefers to be known as Roxanne Moore, was involved in an incident September 13th where officers said she took a gun from someone at an apartment complex, aimed it at group of people and then at the officers. They then fired at her and struck her several times. The Berks County district attorney says Miller-Nock's prison time will be followed by six years of probation.
