>>Nitro Bar In West Reading To Reopen After Nearly Two Years
(West Reading, PA) -- The owner of what was turning out to be a favorite in West Reading bar says it'll reopen soon - almost two years after it closed due to the COVID pandemic. The exposed brick walls of Nitro Bar had housed many other kinds of businesses before that, and owner Adam Cocuzza says people were really catching on to the vibe before COVID shut them down a few days before St. Patrick's Day in 2020. Cocuzza plans to re-open Nitro Bar in the 400 block of Penn Avenue next week. He says he'll continue to honor the history of the building, which had previously housed the West Reading Motor and Hardware Company and a car dealership.
