(Pottstown, PA) -- One person is dead after a fire destroyed a two-story row home in Pottstown. Firefighters were called to the burning building in the three-hundred block of Chestnut Street yesterday morning. One person was also injured after jumping out of a second story window to escape the fire. There's no word on that victim's condition. A firefighter also suffered a knee injury. The name of the deceased victim hasn't been released. Some neighbors credit a family dog for alerting them of the fire. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.

(Lancaster County, PA) -- Johnson & Johnson will close its Lancaster County production plant in East Lampeter in December. The company released a statement, which reads in part, "We are working to update the Consumer Health Supply Chain network to better meet the needs of consumers and customers for years to come. As part of this strategy, we intend to exit out Lancaster, Pennsylvania facility." A company spokesperson said the company isn't disclosing how many employees will be impacted by the closure, but that Johnson & Johnson will provide those employees with "appropriate support."

>>Suspect Hospitalized After Police Chase In York City

(York, PA) -- A suspect is hospitalized after a police chase that started in York City. Police say they spotted the suspect in a stolen car yesterday on I-83. A chase ensued after the suspect allegedly didn't comply with a traffic stop. The chase ended when the suspect crashed the vehicle in Baltimore County, Maryland. There's no word on the suspect's condition.

>>COVID Testing Site To Close At Lancaster County Public Safety Training Center

(Lancaster County, PA) -- The COVID testing center at the Lancaster County Public Safety Training Center will close at the end of the week. The last day of operation will be on Friday from 8:30 in the morning until three in the afternoon. Appointments are recommended, but not required.

(Kutztown, PA) -- The Kutztown Folk Festival will return to in-person this year. Organizers of the annual event just outside of Reading, made that announcement yesterday. The festival will be held in July.
