(Harrisburg, PA) -- Celebrity doctor Mehmet Oz is leading the Republican primary contest for U.S. Senate, according to a new poll. The survey by the Trafalgar Group of over a thousand likely Republican primary voters shows over 27-percent favored Oz is the election were held tomorrow. Robert Cahaly, chief pollster with Trafalgar, says he believes Fox News, and in particular host Sean Hannity, is influencing the numbers in a big way. He says there's nothing about Oz that makes him more of a Trump candidate -it's just that Trump voters trust Hannity, and trust Oz as an extension of that. The Pennsylvania primary is scheduled for May 17th. Â
