(Undated) - Here's the latest news: A Winter Weather Advisory will continue to be in effect until Friday afternoon. The Reading School District Board of Directors has named a new principal for Reading High School. A 42-year-old Lancaster County man has been charged after police say they discovered more than 500 images of child pornography in his home.

(Berks, PA) -- Forecasters with the National Weather Service say a Winter Weather Advisory will continue to be in effect until Friday afternoon. Mixed precipitation and additional snow accumulations of up to one inch can be expected, as well as moderate ice accumulations. You should plan on slippery road conditions and an affected morning commute. 

>>School District Appoints New Reading High School Principal

(Reading, PA) -- The Reading School District Board of Directors has named a new principal for Reading High School. The board made the appointment of Waldo Alvarado official at its regular meeting Wednesday. Alvarado has been serving as interim principal at the high school since November of last year. His career with the district began in 2001 as a school counselor at Northwest Middle School. He has also served as an assistant high school principal at Reading High School and as the district's director of equity and inclusion for nearly eight years. Reading High School has more than five-thousand students and 400 staff members. 

>>Philadelphia Man Arrested For Allegedly Killing 2 Teens In Reading

(Reading, PA) -- Police have announced they've made an arrest in the shooting deaths of two teenagers in northwest Reading last weekend. Late Thursday afternoon, Reading officers arrested NyJee Jefferson of Philadelphia. He is accused of fatally shooting two people in the 200 block of West Greenwich Street in Reading early Sunday morning. RPD identified one of the two homicide victims as José Ventura-Jiménez, who was 18. The name of the other victim, a 17-year-old boy, is not being released.

>>Alleged Assaulter of Tow Truck Driver Turns Himself In

(York, PA) -- Police say a man accused of assaulting a tow truck driver in York has turned himself in. The attack on February 16th on South Penn Street was captured by a transit bus camera. Eliezer Graciani-Alicea, of York, is facing an aggravated assault charge. Police believe the assault happened due to a case of road rage.

>>Lancaster Man Reportedly Had More Than 500 Child Pornography Images

(Lancaster, PA) -- A 42-year-old Lancaster County man has been charged after police say they discovered more than 500 images of child pornography in his home. Daniel Pomponio the Third was taken into custody by Manheim Township Police after an investigation that began in December. Police say he denied ever receiving or possessing child pornography. Officials with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children allege that a Kik mobile app account traced to Pomponio's email revealed pictures of nude children. Investigators served a search warrant at his Wyncroft Lane home in January, confiscating his phone, four computers and three other electronic devices. They reportedly uncovered more than 530 images of suspected child pornography. He faces felony child pornography counts in the case.
