(Reading, PA) -- Members of the Reading City Council have approved additional funding to complete work on a new fire station being built at North Ninth and Marion streets. They authorized the appropriation of four-million-dollars from the city's construction fund as well as five million from American Rescue Plan funds to complete the construction. The total cost of the project, which is set to be finished late this year, is nearly ten and a half million dollars.
