Catherine "Cavi" Miller has announced that she's running for the Democratic nomination for the open 101st State House District seat. A 30-year-old Lancaster woman has been arrested for allegedly using a self-checkout to steal just under 200-dollars worth of clothing.

(Reading, PA) -- Lawyers for the Berks County mother who is facing the death penalty in the hanging deaths of her young children want to exclude her statements and computer search history from her trial. Lisa Snyder was back in Berks County Court for a status conference in her case Wednesday. Snyder, who is 39, is charged with first-degree murder and other crimes in the deaths of 8-year-old Conner and 4-year-old Brinley Snyder. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty. Snyder is being held in the Berks County Jail without bail. Her trial date has not been set.

(Lebanon, PA) -- The former Lebanon County Bar Association's executive director has announced that she's running for the Democratic nomination for the open 101st State House District seat. Catherine "Cavi" Miller is from Cornwall. She wants to fill the seat of Rep. Frank Ryan, who is not running for a fourth term. In the past, Miller has been an occupational health and safety contractor for the commonwealth. Her campaign says she also as been involved in several community organizations. She is also a licensed pilot. Miller says if she's elected she'll focus on quality public education, prioritizing the needs of the district's aging population, equality and having a small and transparent government.

(Lancaster, PA) -- COVID-19 tests are still available as positive cases have dropped rapidly. County officials say out of 500-million free tests offered by the Biden administration, almost half have been left unclaimed. You can order an at-home COVID test by going to covidtests.gov.

(Lancaster County, PA) -- A 30-year-old Lancaster woman has been arrested for allegedly using a self-checkout to steal just under 200-dollars worth of clothing. East Lampeter Township Police say Teray Hansley tried to walk out of the Walmart on Lincoln Highway East with the clothing. They say she did not completely check out or pay for all the clothing items that were in her possession. She is facing charges of retail theft.

(Philadelphia, PA) -- The 76ers are taking care of business at home. Philadelphia throttled the Knicks 123-108 Wednesday night. The 76ers used a 38-19 advantage in the third quarter to race past the Knicks. Joel Embiid [[ joe-EL mm-BEED ]] had 27 points in the win. James Harden added 26 for Philadelphia, which has now improved to 38-and-23 for the season.
