(Spring Township, PA) -- State Representative Jim Cox says he will not run for re-election. In a statement Wednesday, the 16-year-lawmaker announced he is not running for a ninth term. Cox, who is 52 and from Spring Township, currently serves as chairman of the House Labor & Industry Committee. He is the third state lawmaker who represents parts of Berks County to not seek re-election in 2022.
