(Allentown, PA) -- For the first time ever, a woman is being considered for the post of U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. President Joe Biden has nominated Jacqueline C. Romero for the position. She's currently an assistant U.S. Attorney. She must wait for U.S. Senate confirmation before assuming the post. The Eastern District of Pennsylvania covers nine counties with federal courthouses in Allentown, Easton, Philadelphia and Reading.
