(Lancaster, PA) -- Officials with Armstrong Flooring say they have filed for bankruptcy. The Lancaster County-based company had previously announced it was looking to sell its business. That sale will continue even though the company has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, which allows a company to continue to operate while restructuring its debt. In a statement, President and CEO Michel Vernmette says the company is open for business and remains committed to its customers, vendors and employees.
