(Harrisburg, PA) -- Governor Tom Wolf is reacting to the deadly mass shooting at an elementary school in Texas. Governor Wolf says he's asking the Pennsylvania General Assembly to take immediate action and pass legislation to prevent gun violence. In a tweet this afternoon Wolf asked how many children must be killed before people wake up to the reality that gun violence is a crisis. A gunman killed 19 children and two teachers before being killed by a Border Patrol agent yesterday.
