>>Cities in Berks County Raise Flags for Pride Month
(Reading, West Reading, PA) -- Gay Rights supporters in the cities of Reading and West Reading have gathered to raise the Pride Flag. Two ceremonies took place Wednesday, first in front of City Hall in Reading, and later in front of West Reading Borough Hall. During the flag raisings, the Reading Pride Celebration organization named State Senator Judy Schwank as Grand Marshal for the upcoming 2022 Reading Pride Celebration Festival. It will take place Sunday, July 17th at Jim Dietrich Park.
