(Reading, PA ) -- A Pennsylvania lawmaker is among a group of U.S. House Representatives who are asking for a review of semiconductor supply chains in light of the worldwide shortage. Rep. Chrissy Houlahan is among those who proposed the review Wednesday in an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act. Semiconductors are mostly produced in Taiwan. Due to concerns of a Chinese invasion there, the federal government has urged tech companies to invest in plants that make them on U.S. soil.
