(Berks, PA) -- Church officials say they doubt that they'll ever see some 400-thousand-dollars that a judge has ordered to be repaid to them. Court documents show Melanie Lee Kummerer of Ontelaunee Township pleaded guilty to four felony counts of stealing from Calvary Lutheran Church in Laureldale while she served as church treasurer. She will serve 10 years of probation and has been court-ordered to pay restitution to both the church and to insurance companies.
