>>New STEM-Based High School to be Built in Reading
(Reading, PA) -- Reading School District leaders have revealed plans to build a 71-million-dollar high school that will focus on STEM studies. Officials say about 55-million-dollars of the cost will come from the district's COVID relief money with the balance paid for by district capital improvement funds. The 145-thousand-square-foot, four-story building will be built on the site of the former Reading Outlet Center. It's expected to serve about 900 students and is slated to be finished in 2025.
