(Reading, PA) -- He'll need approval from the Reading City Council but Mayor Eddie Moran has announced his choice for the city's next managing director. The mayor says former Reading Police Chief Bill Heim is well-known and respected by both city administrators and citizens. Heim is currently police chief in Muhlenberg Township. The mayor hopes Heim can get started in the position in August.
