(Reading, PA) -- Officials at Reading's Opportunity House are increasing their capacity for people who are homeless during extreme heat conditions. They've issued a Code Red which will allow them to  provide shelter to people who had been sleeping outdoors or in cars. Providers say the severe weather is particularly harmful to homeless people with underlying medical conditions including heart problems, emphysema and asthma.
