(South Heidelberg, PA) -- Pennsylvania State Police are investigating an explosion at a metal plant in South Heidelberg. Officials say two employees were hurt in the blast that happened Wednesday afternoon at the Reading Alloys Plant. The workers reportedly were mixing chemicals when they ignited and created the explosion. One worker injured an elbow and both employees suffered smoke inhalation.
