>>Residents Show Up En Masse to Protest Warehouse Proposal

(Cumru Township, PA) -Over 200 people reportedly showed up at a recent Cumru Township planning commission meeting to voice concerns over the potential for a huge new warehouse. City officials postponed a ruling on the 739-thousand square-foot structure after the project received intense criticism from residents Monday. Complaints included fears of how the warehouse might worsen traffic and lead to accidents in the Route 10 and Freemansville Road area. The commission might revisit the issue in September.
