(Lancaster Co., PA) -- Coaches for the schools involved in the merger of two football leagues say overall, the idea has been a pretty good one. They say because the schools from Berks and Lancaster-Lebanon will be facing teams of similar size, there should be a more competitive balance. The 37-team, five-section league, which includes all 13 schools that were in the Berks Football League, as well as longtime Lancaster-Lebanon member Wilson, will begin play this fall.
