(Undated) -- Facebook is plummeting in popularity among younger users, according to a new Pew Research Center survey. In a 2015 overview, Pew found that 71-percent of teens ages 13 to 17 used Facebook. But 2022 paints a very different picture of the social media landscape. That share has dropped from 71-percent to just 32-percent today. YouTube has become the dominating platform among teens, who are also using social media apps like Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok. A majority of teens, at 54-percent, said it would be hard to give up social media. And 36-percent of teens felt they spent too much time on social media, according to Pew.
