(Reading, PA) -- The Animal Rescue League of Berks County is participating in Saturday's Clear the Shelters pet adoption event. Officials say all cats and dogs older than six months will be free to adopt at the Cumru Township shelter. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the adoption center will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. No appointments are needed.
