>>Berks County Removed from State Drought Watch List
(Reading, PA) -- Enough danger has passed that state officials have removed Berks County from a drought watch list. The state Department of Environmental Protection has lifted the status for 16 counties. It had been in effect since the end of August. The precaution remains in effect for 20 other areas that include nearby Lebanon and Dauphin Counties.
