>>Reading Planning Commission Gives Initial Approval To Proposed STEM Academy

(Reading, PA) -- The Reading Planning Commission has given initial approval for the city school district to build a new STEM High School Academy. The five-thousand-square-foot facility would be located at 801 North Ninth Street. It would serve up to a thousand students who want to have careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The school district still needs the commission's final approval before construction can begin.
