(Reading, PA) -- It's that time of year when you start to hear bells being rung outside area stores. The Salvation Army has launched its annual Red Kettle fundraising campaign in Berks County. This year, it will last from November 17th until Christmas Eve. Officials with the organization say proceeds will help distribute toys, clothes, and food to those in need throughout the year.
