(Reading, PA) -- Officials with the Reading School District say they had to put the high school on lock down Thursday afternoon. The action was prompted by a reported shooting in the area near North 13th and Spring Streets, about a block north of the school. A district assistant superintendent tells WFMZ-TV the alert didn't involve anyone at the high school or happen on school property. Police haven't said whether or not anyone was actually shot.
