(Lancaster, PA) -- Nearly five-million-dollars in state funds are being distributed to several non-profits in the Lancaster area. The tax credits flow from Pennsylvania's Neighborhood Assistance Program or NAP. The Lancaster nonprofit called Tenfold says it will use its 356-thousand-dollar grant at its Ann B. Barshinger Financial Empowerment Center. Other grant funds are going to support resident services in southwest Lancaster as part of the SoWe Initiative. Grants were also given to fund the renovation of the former UPMC hospital in Lancaster city into affordable housing.
