>>Berks County Rep. Named Opioid Panel Trustee
(Reading, PA) -- State Representative Mark Rozzi has been appointed to the Pennsylvania Opioid Misuse and Addiction Abatement Trust. The lawmaker from Berks County was recently appointed by the Pennsylvania House speaker to join 12 other trustees. They will determine how the state should spend its one-billion-dollar allotment from the National Opioid Settlement. Seventy percent of the funds are expected to be distributed to counties, with the remainder being split between the General Assembly and counties that are pursuing opioid litigation.
