(Lancaster, PA) -- Lancaster officials say upgrades to their surveillance cameras is paying off. The city's 170 cameras are monitored by the nonprofit Lancaster Safety Coalition, which says the footage they've provided this year has doubled and that's led to help in more than a thousand criminal cases. The coalition says it'll use a recent 200-thousand-dollar check from the county to connect to city's fiber optics network and enhance their quality of the video.
