Commissioners Set Goals for Upcoming Year
(Reading, PA) - Berks County commissioners have gone on the record with their goals for 2023. The leaders discussed needs Thursday as part of their weekly meeting. Commissioners Michael Rivera and Christian Leinbach both talked about their priorities for making sure there's no tax increase. Other objectives include using the balance of ARPA funds for critical county needs and focusing on integrity for the elections. The panel currently has only two members because former commissioner Kevin Barnhardt was appointed as the county's chief operating officer.
