Berks Republicans Appeal State Court Decision on Manual Vote Recount
(Reading, PA) -- The Berks County Republican Committee is appealing a judge's decision concerning ballot counts in the November elections. The committee filed an appeal in Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court this month to overturn a judge's order that stated the committee had failed to "plead and verify" specific acts of fraud or error. Committee Chairman Clay Breece said in a statement that they appealed because they believe that a manual recount should be granted under the state election code.
