(South Heidelberg, PA) -- The man who is taking over the police department in South Heidelberg says he wants to help the public get to know every officer. Matt Hook is now police chief after being on the force for 18 years. At his swearing-in ceremony Wednesday, the Chief Hook also said his future vision is to continue providing the outstanding service the department is known for. In addition to Hook's own town, the department also serves Robesonia, Wernersville and Heidelberg Township.
