Man Hurt In Police Shooting Pleads Guilty To Acts Against Those Officers

(Berks County, PA) - A Reading man has apologized after pleading guilty to using a blowtorch on officers and driving a van at them last year. Zachary Gilbaugh admitted to the acts and pled guilty to aggravated assault Thursday for the incidents last February when he was trying to keep officers from arresting him. The district attorney's office says Gilbaugh told the court he was doing drugs at the time and regretted his actions. He was sentenced to between eight and 20 years in prison.
