Man Struck, Killed By Freight Train In Heidelberg Township
(Berks County, PA) - Authorities say a pedestrian was killed after he was hit by a freight train. The incident Saturday near Janice Lane in Heidelberg Township was initially called in by the rail company, Norfolk Southern. The victim, whose name wasn't released, was struck by a westbound train around 5:30. No other injuries were reported.
