>Summer Road Projects for Interstate 78 and Route 33 Announced
(Williamsport, PA) -- PennDOT officials say they're planning several road and bridge improvement projects across the Lehigh Valley this summer. A district director for Berks, Lehigh, Monroe, and Northampton counties says many new projects are starting up and also that work will continue on two highway reconstruction projects. Those are on Interstate 78 in Berks County and on the interstate between Allentown and the southeast corner of Lehigh County. Work to replace two bridges that carrying Route 33 traffic over Bushkill Creek is also planned.
