Theft, Conspiracy Charges Dismissed For Reading Attorney
(Reading, PA) -- Charges against a Berks County attorney accused of helping a client steal 120-thousand-dollars have been dismissed. Michael Cammarano Junior was arrested in August and charged with theft, receiving stolen property and conspiracy. He had been accused of taking money from an escrow account he set up on behalf of a client who disputed what a Harrisburg law firm claimed as its share of a civil settlement. Delaware County Judge John P. Capuzzi Senior issued an order last Wednesday dismissing the charges.
