New Dean of College Education Named at Kutztown University
(Berks County, PA) -- Officials at Kutztown University are announcing that Doctor Rebecca West Burns has been named as their new Dean of the College of Education. Provost Doctor Lorin Basden Arnold says Dr. Burns is a Berks County native and has spent more than 20 years at the university level as well as in the public school system. She says the new dean rose to the top of a national search in large part due to her strong background in teacher education and building partnerships with K through 12 districts. Doctor West Burns will start at Kutztown University August first.
