Water Main Break Causes Disruptions In Reading
(Reading, PA) -- A boil order is in place for thousands of Reading residents after a 24 inch water main broke. Around three thousand customers experienced low to no water pressure after the break yesterday morning on Pottsville Pike. The break was quickly isolated and water was restored to the city. Residents in the affected area have been notified by the Reading Area Water Authority to boil all water for a minute before using it for drinking or cooking until further notice.
