Joe Khan Announces He'll Run For Attorney General
(Reading, PA) -- A former federal prosecutor who led corruption investigations in Allentown and Reading says he'll run for Pennsylvania's attorney general. Joe Khan declared his intentions Wednesday. He becomes the second Democrat to run for the office, following former state Auditor General Eugene DePasquale's announcement last week. The position which will become vacant after next year as current A-G Michelle Henry has said she doesn't plan to run in 2024. The chief law enforcement officer of the Commonwealth is elected for four years with an annual salary of 162-thousand-dollars.
