State Preserves Over 2,000 Acres In Berks County

(Reading, PA) -- Governor Josh Shapiro says the state has preserved over two-thousand acres from future residential or commercial development in Berks County. It's part of an initiative announced this week that covers 29 farms in 15 counties, stemming from an investment of more than ten-million-dollars. The governor says Pennsylvania continues to lead the nation in preserved farmland.
