Former Dana Corporation Site Sold To Logistics Company
(Reading, PA) -- A one-time manufacturing facility in northwest Reading could see some new life soon. The Reading City Council has voted to authorize the sale of a 50-acre site that used to house the former Dana Corporation. It's being sold to the NewCold logistics company for four-and-a-half-million dollars. Company officials for the Europe-based company say they'll operate a refrigerated warehouse and cold-chain logistics facility the site. The company has been given a year to get proper zoning and planning commission approval.
