Philadelphia Man Accused Of Murder In Death Of Reading Toddler
(Reading, PA) -- Berks County officials have arrested and charged a Philadelphia man with first-degree murder in the death of a two-year-old boy. Investigators say Emiliano Velazquez suffered many internal injuries in his Reading home while Charles Acosta was watching him. Berks detectives say Acosta had lived with the victim's mother when the child suffered the fatal injuries. The boy's mother wasn't home at the time. Acosta was arrested Thursday in Philadelphia and is being held without bond in Berks County.
