Forty People Displaced in Reading Flooding Over the Weekend

(Reading, PA) - The Red Cross is helping at least 40 people who were displaced by flooding in over the weekend. The severe storms Sunday in Reading also left thousands without power, according to a First Energy spokesperson. The Pennsylvania Rivers Chapter of the Red Cross says it's helping the families from over 20 homes that have been affected by the flooding. A shelter has been set up at the Glenside Elementary School at 500 Lackawanna Street.
