Man Arrested For Making Bomb Threat At Musikfest

(Northampton County, PA) -- A Bethlehem man is in custody and facing charges for allegedly making a bomb threat at Musikfest. Police say 53-year-old Robert Bowen Junior was arrested last week after he threatened to build and detonate an improvised explosive at Musikfest. Investigations into Bowen have linked him to at least three recent incidents in Bethlehem where firework sized devices were detonated. He was taken into custody on Friday at a home on Wyandotte Street and is facing multiple charges including unlawful possession or manufacture of a weapon of mass destruction. A judge has now sealed all records in the case due to the sensitivity of the ongoing investigation into Bowen.
