Berks County Man Held for Suspected Armed Robbery

(Reading, PA) -- A Berks County man is being held in Reading for suspected armed robbery in Harrisburg. Pennsylvania State Police say Luke Boyer is one of the men who held up the VP Racing Fuels gas station at gunpoint. He is also accused of tasering the clerk and shooting a gun inside the store during the May robbery. Officials say GPS and cell phone tracking data were used to help identify Boyer as one of the alleged robbers. State police say they also can tie Boyer to three other armed robberies in Schuylkill County.
