Three Charged In Brutal Shooting Death Of Young Reading Man
(Reading, PA) -- Police have charged three men in the March kidnapping and execution-style killing of a 19-year-old man. But investigators say only one of the three suspected of killing Javien Perch is in custody. Hector Torres, who is 20 and from Leesport, was already in the Berks County Prison on other charges. He has been charged with first, second, and third-degree murder, conspiracy, kidnapping, and related offenses. Other suspects still being sought include Vashon Winfield and Ansari Jalal, who are both 19 and from Reading. Perch's family told police he had last been seen walking to a friend's house before he disappeared. His bullet-riddled body was found in Alsace Township a week later.
