(Reading, PA) -- Weather officials have issued a flood watch for Berks County. It's in effect from now until this afternoon because of excessive rainfall. Forecasters with the National Weather Service say rivers, creeks and other low-lying areas might be affected by excessive runoff from area rivers. Showers and thunderstorms with locally heavy rain are expected and might include up to two inches per hour.
