Some Free Parking Offered In Reading For Upcoming Events
(Reading, PA) -- Free parking will be available in select Reading garages for the city's upcoming historic churches tour and anniversary parade. Officials with the Reading Parking Authority say the Fourth and Cherry streets garage will be open from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday for the self-guided tour of downtown churches. The same facility will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. October 1st for people attending Reading's 275th anniversary parade. The two-hour parade will start at 10 a.m. at the foot of Penn Street and travel east to City Park. The Berks Cultural Diversity Festival will take place in City Park after the parade.
