Heath Care Access Expanding In Reading
(Reading, PA) -- A state-of-the-art community-based health center will soon be housed in downtown Reading. Officials with Alvernia University and Berks Community Health Center are joining together to launch the addition to university's Reading College Towne campus. The center that will be housed at the former American House property in the three-hundred block of Penn Street. In addition to traditional primary care services, the Berks Community Health Center will offer mental health services, nutrition and wellness education, social services assistance and warm hand-off referrals.
