Alvernia University Announces $70M Fundraising Campaign
(Reading, PA) -- The president of Alvernia University says a 70-million-dollar fundraising campaign has only 18-million more to go to reach the goal. President Glynis Fitzgerald released details about the campaign, entitled Partners in Progress, at the annual president's dinner in Reading. She says over 52-million has already been secured. Now the university's public campaign hopes to raise the remainder. Fitzgerald says the funds will be used to meet both the current and future needs of Alvernia students and the communities the university serves.
